CZECH REPUBLIC – THE COUNTRY OF SPORT
The Czech Republic provides endless opportunities for different types of sport. With its beautiful, varied landscape, the country is a paradise for sport enthusiasts. There are dozens of new sport centres that enable visitors to try their hand at several sports. Some of those can be recommended and used also in teambuilding activities in incentive travel. In some sports like ice-hockey and tennis Czech Republic gained world reputation.
Let’s try some sport activities in your incentive program!
GOLF and MINIGOLF
Golf season is April-October. In Czech Republic golf has long-term tradition since beginning of the 20th century. There is lots of golf courses of different sizes for training and playing. The most beautiful golf courses (18 holes) can be found in Marianske Lazne, Karlovy Vary, Silherovice and Karlstejn.
Many smaller (9 holes) are also available in Prague or nearby (by Konopiste or Stirin chateaux).
Indoor training courses are available in Prague.

TENNIS
This white sport has also a long-term tradition in the Czech Republic. Due to world success of Czech tennis players (Ivan Lendl and Martina Navratilova) this sport belongs to the most popular in the Czech republic. So tennis courts, both outdoor and indoor, can be found all over the country.
Most recommended places to play are in Prague, Karlovy Vary, Pruhonice, Hluboka and Prerov. Tennis schools with instructors are available.
Tennis is highly recommended for your company competitions or trainings.
ICE-HOCKEY
The ice-hockey is the most famous sport in the Czech Republic since the Olympic games victory in 1998. It can be played in Prague and many other cities indoor ice-stadiums.
-Complete training camps, even with professional Czech ice-hockey coaches (including accommodation, food, transfers and friendships games with Czech teams of equivalent level) can be organized.
-Friendship games or tournaments for your company „hobby“ or old-timer team can be organized with equivalent Czech team(s).
-Incentive programs for your company or friends can be organized. Anything from a single game, training series to a full scale tournament (including equipment rental).
The same arrangements can be offered for soccer (football).
ALPINE AND CROSS COUNTRY SKIING, SNOWBOARDING, SNOW-TUBING AND SLEDGING
Shorter or longer courses with equipment rental, instructors and other services (transfers, accommodation, romantic candle tours etc.) can be offered during the winter season in several winter centres as Bedrichov (Jizerske hory), Harrachov and Spindleruv Mlyn (Krkonose - Giant Mountains).
KARTS AND OFF-ROADS
Company in-door/out-door karts competitions, including parties afterwards, can be offered in different karts arenas in Prague. Off-roads competitions in the neighbourhood of Prague or in the former military areas also available.
BOWLING
Many opportunities for company competitions in bowling available in Prague hotels or bowling arenas.
OUTDOOR SPORT PROGRAMS
Organized either in the vicinity of Prague or in beautiful Czech countryside (Sazava river valley, Sumava mountains, Hruba Skala). Your company employees or business partners can experience an adventure, enjoy of physical movement, have a lot of fun and adrenaline spring.
Different combinations of outdoor sports (mountain-biking, archery, climbing, flying fox, water knights, canoeing) available according participants physical conditions (sport, relax, adventure, light, active and crazy packages). After sport activities picnics or barbecues can be offered.
All these sport programs include rental of necessary equipment, sport instructor (german/english speaking) and transport from and back to Prague.
HORSE RIDING
Horse riding is becoming now one of the most popular sports. Both cold-blooded and warm-blooded breeds of horse are kept in the Czech Republic.
-One of the most famous breeds is the Stare Kladruby horse, the only original Czech horse, which is kept in two colour variants – back and white – in Kladruby and Slatinany. A visit to the local stables, as well as to the hippological museum in Slatinany is a real treat.
-Visits of the stables with rides on horse or in coaches can be offered in many horse-farms (e.g. Benice) and can be combined with social events – meetings, presentations, garden parties as well as with the accompanying programs such as equestrian games and competitions, country bands, dancing demonstrations, horse displays and the most varied kinds of horse-team harnessing. Another interesting opportunity is performance of film-stuntmen’s rehearsals on horses or looking into the secrets of trained horse dressage.
TEAMBUILDING SPORTS PROGRAMS
THE CZECH FORTRESS
This program is based upon the Fortress Boyard television program. Everything takes place in an old castle (e.g. Velhartice castle in southern Bohemia), where the competitors are pitted against various demanding disciplines (the snake room, the rope maze, the crawl through the shaft into the water, the rope walk…). The main goal is to acquire the key to the „Czech Fortress“.
SPORTS GAMES – „THE MINI-OLYMPICS“
A facility with almost every type of sport discipline. The participants are divided into teams according to the selection of disciplines. The types of sporting disciplines and tournaments are tennis, volleyball, football, tennis, mini-golf, badminton, street ball, swimming, bowling and table tennis …
The cultural environment around the event is set in the period of Ancient Rome.
THE MOUNTAIN TRAIL
A precisely defined program for groups and individuals in a mountain environment with the use of outdoor sports. This involves a mountain bike ride along a marked trail with competitive tasks (archery, horse riding, a bobsled run), the bridging or rope traversing of a mountain reservoir and it ends with a sausage sizzle. This program can be used as an event under the title of the „Iron Manager“.
