Tabor

This town, founded by the Hussites in 1420 and named after the biblical Mount Tabor, has been declared a national heritage. Tabor retains the character of a Hussite fortress thanks to its separate farmsteads and narrow zigzagging lanes. It has a remarkable labyrinth of medieval underground passages and town cellars running two to three levels deep.
