Warsaw
The capital of Poland does not have a reputation for beauty, but there are several wonderful parks and buildings nonetheless, and some fine museums.
Crakow
The former capital of Poland (from the 11th - 17th century) lies in the southern part of Poland on the Vistula River. There is a multitude of architectural monuments supplemented by approximately 2.5 million artefacts collected and displayed in museums, churches and archives.
